Gershon's 60th Anniversary!

September 10, 2014, was a beautiful day in the Upper Union Street Neighborhood as family, friends and neighbors, long time customers and elected officials gathered to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Gershon's Deli.
A ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by the Schenectady County Chamber of Commerce featured numerous state and local dignitaries including Mayor Gary McCarthy who proclaimed Sept. 10, Gershon's Deli Day in Schenectady.
We are grateful to everyone who took part in the festivities including local media for their wonderful coverage of our anniversary event.
Take a look back to 1954 and fast-forward to where we are today, from neighborhood deli to regional landmark. Through it all, the long-standing traditions and reputation of the Gershon's name continue to be honored; the commitment to quality and customer service is ever-present. It is a great joy to know that our customers keep coming back - generation after generation - bringing their children and grandchildren with them. Here's to the next 60 years!
